Statuses: sent = remote server accepted · deferred = temporary failure, still retrying · bounced = permanent failure · discarded = accepted and dropped by policy · rejected = blocked by the spam filter. "Rejected at the door" are connections refused before a queue id existed (unauthorized relay attempts, failed logins).
